CABO EXAM INFORMATION
Once again the national exam will be completed online.
Step #1 – Creating Profile and Troubleshooting – New Officials

Login in to https://gameplanbasketball.ca/?set_member_type=official.  Create your profile including mailing address, membership board, and any other fields that you are able to do so. NCCP Number can be entered as “unknown”. Feel free to participate in the mock exam – Select “FIBA Exam” and click the red register button.  If you have any problems, please contact Riike Olasina at cboc@basketball.ca.  This step should be completed immediately. If your NOCP level is incorrect, please email Amber Fehr (aboa.secretary@gmail.com) and she will have it adjusted.
Step #2 – Complete National Exam
The timeframe to complete the exam is October 15 to December 15, 2019.  The exam is an ‘open-book’ format. Login in to your profile at gameplanbasketball.ca.  Make sure you’re in the Officials page. Click FIBA Exam button.  Complete exam within 2 hour timeframe.
NOCP Level 1 Officials are required to complete the first thirty questions, but may complete the full exam if pursuing a Level 2 designation. NOCP Level 2 – 5 officials must complete all fifty questions.

Pro Tip: write the practice exam (20 questions). Variations of those questions tend to be included in the actual exam.

It is important that you complete Step #1 asap, if you’re not already active on GamePlan.  Technical support is not being provided by the provinces for this years exam.  It is being provided by Canada Basketball and as a result will only be available during 9:00am – 5:00pm in Eastern Standard Time.
