Game Plan/Exam Frequently Asked Questions

What questions do I need to write?

  • NOCP Prospect and Level 1 Officials are required to complete questions 1-30.
  • NOCP Level 2, 3, 4, and 5 Officials are required to complete questions 1-50. This includes Level 2-5 candidates (e.g. Level 1 officials who are planning to obtain their level 2 in the 2018/19 season).
  • NOCP Officials who are officiating ACAC, USport, or wish to apply for a national appointment are required to complete questions 1-50. Reminder: You must achieve the required mark for the corresponding appointment.

I want to go to a 3A/4A ASAA provincial tournament. What questions do I need to write?

  • Typically, officials who apply to this level are a NOCP 2-5. If you are a level 1 official and are planning to apply for the above noted tournament, you need to complete questions 1-50 and achieve the required 80% to be eligible.

What is my NOCP Level?

  • If you are not aware, please select “PROSPECT”. The value will be entered by Canada Basketball after being validated.

What is my NCCP Number?

  • If you don’t have an NCCP Number leave this field blank and one will be automatically assigned to you.

When is the exam period?

  • November 30 – December 9, 2018
