This is a virtual event for female sports officials. This is a multisport event and is being supported by 5 provincial officials’ associations Alberta Basketball Officials Association, Alberta Soccer, Alberta Softball Umpires Association, Alberta Volleyball and Hockey Alberta. Also,Softball Canada who has graciously allowed us the use of their virtual platform. The event will bring together an elite panel of speakers who have officiated at a world class level. Each speaker, through personal experience, will offer insight, lessons learned, and potential pathways to less experienced or novice officials. Following the speaker presentations, we will have a panel discussion where the audience are free to ask questions or offer comments.
This forum is open to any female official of any sport, or those who may want to become a sports official. Registration is free, but space is limited and offered on a first-come first-served basis.
